Phone or tablet device

 Android Device (Requires Android version 8 or greater)

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your device.

  2. Search FreeCast.

  3. After selecting the app click Install to begin downloading it to your device.

  4. Once the app is done installing you can begin enjoying FreeCast!

 iPhone or iPad (Requires iOS version 16 or greater)

  1. Open the Apple App Store on your iPad or iPhone device.

  2. Search FreeCast.

  3. Select the app when it appears and click Get to install on your device.

  4. Once the app is done installing you can begin enjoying FreeCast!

Smart TV

 Android TV (Requires Android TV version 8 or greater)

  1. Navigate to the Google Play Store on your device and search for FreeCast.

  2. Tap Install and follow the remaining prompts.

  3. Once the app finishes installing you can begin enjoying FreeCast on your Android TV!

 Apple TV (Requires tvOS version 15 or greater)

  1. Launch the App Store app from your Apple TV home screen.

  2. Use the search bar at the top of the App Store screen to search FreeCast.

  3. After locating the FreeCast app, click the app icon.

  4. Click Get to install the app on your Apple TV.

 Fire TV (Recommended for Fire OS version 7 or greater)

  1. Click on the magnifying glass icon in the top menu on your Fire TV.

  2. Search FreeCast and select the app from the list when it appears.

  3. Select Get or Download to install the FreeCast app.

 Samsung TV (Requires Tizen version 5.5 or greater)

  1. Navigate to the Apps section on your Samsung TV.

  2. Search FreeCast.

  3. Select the app when it appears and click Get to install on your TV.

  4. Once the app is done installing you can begin enjoying FreeCast.

 LG TV (Requires webOS version 5 or greater)

  1. Navigate to the Apps section on your LG TV.

  2. Search FreeCast.

  3. Select the app when it appears and click Install to install on your TV.

  4. Once the app is done installing you can begin enjoying FreeCast!

Roku

 Roku (Requires Roku version 14 or greater)

  1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote to get to the options menu.

  2. Scroll down and select Streaming Store.

  3. From the Streaming Store screen, scroll down select the Search box with the magnifying glass in it.

  4. Search FreeCast > Then select the app once it appears and press Install.

Chromecast

  1. First, make sure your mobile device and Chromecast device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

  2. Open the FreeCast app on your device and tap the Cast button that appears in the top right corner of the FreeCast app screen.

  3. Choose the Chromecast device you want to watch content from and it should then begin casting the app directly onto your TV screen.
