Note: The following instructions are referring to the FreeCast Whole Home Solution Box, though the same setup instructions apply if you have an HDHomeRun box that was not purchased from FreeCast.

Connect your FreeCast Home / HDHomeRun Box

  1. Connect Your HD Antenna: Plug your antenna (sold separately) in the “Antenna In” port on your FreeCast Home / HDHomeRun Box.

  2. Connect Your Network: Use the included ethernet cable to connect to your home router.

  3. Power On: Plug the deice into an outlet. The green ethernet light will indicate power.

  4. Configure Your Device: Go to my.hdhomerun.com to configure your device, update the latest firmware, and set your preferences.

Watch Local TV with FreeCast Home

  1. Install the FreeCast App: Go to your device’s app store and search “FreeCast”.
    > Download and install the app on your streaming device.

  2. Log in to FreeCast: Use your registered email and password to log in to the FreeCast app.
    (If you’re unsure about your registered email, just let our Support Team know via live chat or email and we’ll be happy to confirm that for you)

  3. Access Local Channels: Select “FreeCast Home” in the “Select Channels” menu to view local broadcast channels.
